Great response on August 23rd 2023 in Halle (Saale)
About 80 participants crowded the consulting counters of NEB_NETWORKOFFICE, federal investment bank Saxony-Anhalt and federal department for structural transition, got inspired and informed, looked for project partners and found answers to questions about funding opportunities under the JTF funding program in Saxony-Anhalt launched by the EU.
It was mainly about encouragement to participate in a major federal project with a future: NEB. This was also emphasized by prime minister Reiner Haseloff in his video message. The first impulses for the NEB quality criteria Beautiful. Sustainable. Together. were given by experts, including the 2022 federal Architecture Prize winner Claudia Cappeller from Halle (Saale), freelance architect, cappellerarchitekten, on the question of "How important is beautiful?" Project ideas from Hohenmölsen, Kleinpaschleben and Merseburg were presented. Bauhaus Director Dr. Barbara Steiner and Vice President of the German Chamber of Architects Prof. Ralf Niebergall also attended the discussion.
The messagage at the end of the day was to work on the concrete project outlines until the state's own JTF funding regulations will be published, ergo: to become #NeueBauhäusler and thus be part of the NEB_FAMILY.
